Catherine Jones is a seasoned incentive travel professional with over 20 years’ experience in the incentive industry and holds designations as a Certified Meeting Professional as well as a Certified Incentive Travel Executive. In 2003, Catherine founded The Edventives Group to provide customized, turnkey meetings, incentives and travel programs for clients requiring highly customized solutions.

Previous to her career in incentive travel, Catherine attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Catherine holds both a Master of Arts in History as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.

Mary Elaine Jones, Ph.D, R.N. comes to The Edventives Group with a wealth of experience in the medical field. Dr. Jones is a Registered Nurse, holds a master’s in parent-child nursing, is prepared as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and is a nurse anthropologist, with a master’s degree in medical anthropology and a doctorate in cultural anthropology.

Dr. Jones spent much of her career at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing (UTA), and directed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program for ten years; of these. Dr. Jones co-founded the Center for Hispanic Studies in Nursing & Health at UT Arlington. In doing so, she planned international meetings focusing on cross cultural health education for professionals with an emphasis on preparing a culturally diverse workforce.

Appointed the Brig. Gen. Lillian Dunlap Chair in Nursing at the University of the Incarnate Word in 2002, Dr. Jones initiated a team concept to support faculty research. The committee, composed of faculty representatives from each of the campus schools, is a university-wide effort to develop faculty scholarship in the biomedical and behavioral sciences. The infrastructure development was funded at $1.5M by the National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development.

Jennifer brings to the table over 20 years of experience in the meeting and event industry, both pre-planning and onsite management. After working as an in-house, third-party planner, she decided to broaden her horizons and go out on her own as an independent Travel Director. She is well versed in all areas of onsite management and loves making memorable experiences for the guests. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys exercising, gardening, home remodeling projects, cooking and wine. She is married to her husband of 13 years and together they have two miniature Dachshunds. Jennifer and her family live in Atlanta where she was raised.
